This is for today's limited supply challenge. The challenge: to make a card/project using a summer theme but limited to 3 layers + card base, limited embellies, and no patterned paper. I decided these cute little mice were very summery as they try to beat the heat with a fan and popcicles!! The image is colored with watercolor crayons and an aquapainter. Had to break out a blending pen for the fan, though. Added dimensional glaze to the popcicles, glass, and mouse eyes.
These colors are definitely out of my comfort zone so I'm not real sure I LOVE this card. Popcicles just don't seem to come in Earth Elements or Rich Regals, though!
I noticed while I was coloring that the mice in front of the fan don't have tails....they are there on the picture on the stamp...wonder if they got too close to that fan???? Do you suppose they used the popcicles to numb the pain....or maybe there's something numbing in the popcicle itself....poor miceys!!!
Thanks for lookin' at my very bright card! You'll need sunglasses to go with that sunscreen!

How cute! Love the bright colors and the sparkly popsicles. Mice w/ no tails? Either the stamp is an error or the farmer's wife got to them (3 blind mice?).

Hi Lynnor, I do love it!!!! Fantastic HM image and your colouring of everything, including that difficult fan is superb. Really love the glossy accents on the lollies and glass, the perfect finishing touch.

Love the card - especially the glaze on the drink and popsicles. (I need a lesson on the bow tying - looks so perfect). Great card - and one that fits today - 90+ with high humidity. Will have to remember your card on those sticky days, that's for sure.
