Here is my card for today's inspiration challenge--the inspiration picture is found here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I did not like the look of the silver brads and I did not have any antique looking one or brown ones so I made my own. I took 3 of the silver HPH brads and dipped them in my Choc. Chip craft pad, coated that with clear embossing powder and then heat set them. I dropped one on my hand and now have a "pretty" little brad brand!! ouch!! Oh well the hazards of being a stamper!!
Thanks for looking and leaving comments--it is so fun to hear what my stamping friends have to say. I will be by to comment after I get a shower and wake up for the day. Have a great weekend everyone!!

So beautiful! Love the *calico* print background and those 3 beautiful flowers with their awesome brad centers. So sorry you were branded in the process! Hope it won't keep you from creating another masterpiece!

I hope that the brad brand hasn't blistered yet. Your card is wonderful and a great idea to make your own brads!

this is beautiful with those gorgeous flowers! Love your color choices and that big bold ribbon with the red tied on is quite stunning! Are you trying to tattoo yourself while making custom brads?! Be careful there!!!
