Most of the spotlight cards have an extra layer between the spotlight and the card and I tried it with black and it seemed to detract rather than add to the card. So... I didn't use any middle layering. What do you think?

OH how beautiful, I love this set, now if I can just figure out how you matched them up so perfectly, w/o a stamp-a-majig What do you mean, What do we think, I hope you were not expecting less... This is just drop dead gorgeous, and it looks like a dark turquiose instead of navy, just stunning. They are all beautiful. TFS!!!

To line up everything for both layers, I stamped the card and embossed. Then I used tracing paper and outlined where the stems and outside leaves were. After that, I centered the white cardstock strip, over the tracing paper, where I wanted the spotlight layer and used the stamp positioner and just stamped. Pretty easy, just some card engineering skills.
