Happy Memorial Day everyone! I made this card for a WW2 Veteran. This is my story:
1. This card is for Albert. Albert is the Father in Law of scrappigramma2 (Grace). Here's some information about Albert's life...
2. Albert fought in World War II. He was wounded and lost his arm at Normandy. He was awarded the Purple Heart for saving many lives as well as many other awards. He will be 94 in August.
3. He won't receive this card on Memorial Day but it was made on Memorial Day to thank him for his bravery many years ago.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Love the crimped paper with all the thank you's incorporated into the flag and the purple heart. What a wonderful card for a wonderful man who served our country!

Wow, your flag is awesome and I liked the corregated paper. You did a wonderful job on Albert's card and I know he will appreciate this nice flag card in his honor.

Cindy, this is awesome in so many ways!! The inspiration to make the card, and the card itself. This is fabulous!! I love the warm rustic feel of it, and it's execution is phenomenal!! WOW!
