This is my card for today's sketch challenge. This is my story:
1. I made this card for a fellow SCSer's (beadn&stampn/Deb) 85 year old grandfather who is a veteran of World War II. It's not his birthday but just a thank you to him for his years of service.
2. If you would like to send him a card I can pm you his address.
3. I didn't work on Monday because I had some dental work done in the morning and when I was driving home there were hundreds and hundreds of people lining the highway waving US flags.
4. I wasn't sure what that was all about but when I watched the news on Monday night I found out that a young man from my home town was killed in Iraq this week. Turns out it was a tribute to him and his family. So sad!
This is a new set of stamps by H & M Stamps that will be released on May 25th. It's called Celebrate the Day.

What a great card with a wonderful message. Any veteran would love to receive your tribute. Actually, I bet any veteran we know would like to receive a tribute from each of us. Thank you for getting us started, Cindy.
What a wonderful card for your friends Grandpa. It is such a wonderful idea to someone who gave up so much to help us all out. I know being a 9-11 vet myself, it would touch me a whole bunches to receive a card as beautiful and wonderful as this!
