This took me way longer than I expected, and it's way past my bedtime, so I'm sure I'll forget to tell you something...
It seems that I have picked my third SU set today that is not listed in the Categories... am I that old that none of the sets I have are remembered? This one is called Topiary and is dated 1998.
I started with the paisley paper - I've been wanting to use it for a while now and finally decided this was the right time. It's called Terra Cotta Paisley by Creative Imaginations. On the terra cotta theme, I opted to use my Topiary set. The branch was stamped on the panel, and the leaves and pot were stamped on green/maroon card stock and cut out. I added highlights and shadows to the pot with marker and prisma pencil. The pot and the little flowers were popped up with dots. I used a knife to cut 2 slits along the branch and tied the ribbon around one branch. The butterflies are a little fiskars punch.
I also tried to do the grid technique on the background. It was rubbed with Chocolate chip and purely pomegranite, and the vines (also from the Topiary set) were stamped with chocolate chip. I REALLY NEED A SCOR-PAL!!
On that note, I'm off to bed. I look forward to checking the gallery in the morning - when I started this card there were only 2 cards in the gallery - I can only imagine how many there are now!!

well, Jami, this card is filled with so many clever touches! I love that paisley paper and the pot has such detail! I like how you popped the blooms on the tree and the movement in your panels is nice!
