I am really pleased with my 'Anything but a card' challenge. I punched out LOTS of oval Real Red Cardstock, rolled and sticky stripped them together, to make individual roses and then stuck those all together. I then stamped leaves with the 'Peaceful Wishes' in Old Olive ink onto Old Olive cardstock, rolled 12 stems of Old Olive cardstock and wrapped the whole lot in a sheet of deisgner paper....tie with a bow....viola!

Thanks so much for your comments!! To make the roses - I used the Stampin' Up oval punch. Punch out LOTS of ovals. To start each rose off, work 1 oval in your fingers to soften the card, then roll it - it will actually look like a rose bud almost straight away. Then, to make the petals just keep layering the ovals, going around and around and around, trying not to get them all evenly spaced - it looks better if they're not all perfect. Then softly bend the tops of the ovals over to create a 'droop' in the top of each petal. To make the stems, I just rolled a piece of 6x 2 card stock around a pencil in a spiral, eased it off the pencil then put a bit of sticky strip to hold it in place. There is a little piece of vellum around the buds along with a few leaves I stamped and cut out. I then made a cone of designer paper and stuck it with SS, gathered it in the middle and tied it with the ribbon. Stuck the bunch of buds in the top and popped the stems in the bottom. So, it is 'empty' in the middle - but doesn't look it. I made them for my Upline 'Anything but a card', but I love them myself....no need to worry about watering them or looking for a vase!
Oh my stars...that is gorgeous. I just got punch and decided I was going to try it....lol...you are talented because I think I need about 6 more hands.
Great picture just beautiful

As everyone said, I thought they were real and you were just showing the tag and the pin. When I read your comments, I went back to look and still thought they looked real. Unbelievable job. It must have taken you some time to do this one.
