I was SOO excited when Genesis announced they would be touring and stopping by Montreal on the way last year. The pictures, that were taken just before the concert, say it all. The band had already split up when I got into their music, so I never thought this day would come.
The guitare paper is from DCWV, and the other papers are from Crate Paper, but I think they go together very well. I got the guitare paper because I thought it looked so cool, not knowing what I'd do with it, but it think it works great for this LO. (It's hard to tell in the picture, but the flourishes are silver foil.) I used rub-ons to create my title and followed the shape of the guitare on the page.
The journaling is handwritten, and I used the Dotted Lines wheel to add some lines on the patterned paper, to make it easier to write properly. I've stacked two pages on top of each other, and the second one presents the Playlist of the night. If you look very closely, on the patterned paper at the top, there's a van on which is written "Reunion tour". How perfect is that!!!!
The chipboard buttons are sold by Crate Paper to match the paper from their Static Collection line. I also used my brand-new Autumn Leaves stamps (Messy Stitches) to add stitching around the pattern papers. I really like the look - and not having to mess with an actual sewing machine!
And finally, no, I didn't get close enough to the Genesis band members to take this picture. I found it online, with a press release of their new tour.
"All I need is a TV Show, that and the radio..." Got that song stuck in your head yet? ;)

Two terrific pages. That guitar paper sure does work great on this dps! The photos really capture the fact that you were a happy gal. Love those buttons--great idea to get the photo online. The bg paper looks super. I like how you did the *Turn It On* along the edge of the guitar. Fabulous pages--really neat!
