I haven't designed a card in over a week, so I was pleased to be able to pull off a double challenge. This card was created for the sketch challenge and the ways to use it challenge.
The butterfly is two layers of cereal box chipboard die cut with my cuttlebug. I painted it with white acrylic paint and then stamped the flower with orange and pink passion (rock & roll). The edges are sponged in rust. The paint makes the ink really fade out.
I lightly filled in the flowers on the center panel with markers.
After I had everything put together, I added crystal effects and glitter to the flower center on the butterfly.
I used a plastic canvas circle as a guide for placement of the brads.
