This watercolor thing is so much fun - it's addicting. I loved the results of the watercolor and thought it could use a little "ooomph." Thus, the Glassy Glaze! The fibers are neutral in color, but I sponged over them to give it a different color.

LOVE IT. Can you tell me how you used glassy glaze - was it put over all the image or part of it. And where was the silver EP used? Love how you colored the fibers. STUNNING, have to do this one.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments, ladies. This card has inspired me to do a whole series from the sketches series of stamps.
The Glassy Glaze was done thus: First, I stamped the image in black, and then watercolored with theh aqua painter and pencils. Then, after it had dried, I covered the entire panel with VersaMark and then glassy glaze, then heat embossed it. I varied the amount of heat so that the girl has more texture around her head, and the sky and grass are smoother. Glassy Glaze is just like UTEE (probably the same product), and the more heat you apply (or more coats) the smoother the result. If you heat it just until it starts to melt, you'll get a bubbly, bumpy texture which I think give the image depth. It's a great product!
The silver EP was used around the edge of the whole card (hard to see in the scan). I wanted to pick up the silver of the tag somewhere else on the card.
