So glad I had time for a sketch challenge card today! I have missed doing the challenges. Thanks again Roxie! You're a doll for hosting this challenge so faithfully! Thanks too to dlounds for the inspiring sketch!
I confess, I saw this marvelous card by Jeanne S, and I just had to keep it up on my screen for inspiration as I was coloring. I kept referring back to it to decide on colors, so I had to give her props here: TLC164 The Doctor Is In by Jeanne S at Splitcoaststampers
I used Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol to color. The blue edges were done with a combination of a blue Prisma pencil and a Cat's Eye ink pad by Color Box, Sky Blue.
Dp by Daisy Bucket Designs. Its double sided, and you can see the two sides on my card.
Holes made with my paper drill from Lee Valley Tools (I love that craft tool!)
CS from Hollow's in Brunswick, Ohio. Its double sided too, so the inside is a nice lighter blue.
Main image is popped up on double sided foam tape from the hardware store.
All stamps by High Hopes Stamps.
I made this card for a dear woman who has a serious condition at present, but I'm praying for her full recovery.
Blessings! TFL!
Oh, and I forgot to mention, this medicine man has been saved and is NOT a witch doctor, but rather a messenger of Jesus Christ who goes about ministering healing to his people... in case you were wondering! ;-D
Wow, for anyone who reads this; I just watched a preacher lastnight on God TV and he spoke about doing evangelistic meetings in Uganda, where a large number of tribal medicine men gave their hearts and lives to Christ... and they are doing exactly what I said this pretend cartoon character is doing... praise God!
