A very limited supplies challenge today - on colour anyway. Use white and any other colour, but only ONE other colour. Kind of makes it hard to use DSP as there is usually more than a couple of colours in that. So, I tried to keep it simple. Chocolate Chip and White - I've been wanting to use some of my CC wide Ribbon - and here was my chance.
I used the swirly flowery stamp from Friendship blooms to do my backgrounds on all layers and I added a white half pearl to the centre of the top flower. There are 2 layers of the flower on top of the image stamped on the final layer of the card. This is the first time I stamped in Versamark BEFORE I stamped into colour and then heat embossed (usually I stamp the image in colour then stamp over it using Versamark) - I can't believe this actually works!!!! Woooo Hoooooo - I've saved myself a tonne of time for future cards!!!!
This card was inspired by the so many gorgeously large ribbons I see on Faith's cards (Markie's Mom) and the flower was inspired by a card I cased a couple of weeks back for the weekly featured stamper, Amy (PickleTree).
