This was inspired by my drive home! After the last little bit of snow we had (which we didn't get much), the sunset contrasting the trees just made me want to re-create it! Immediately this set came to mind and the amazing work of Michelle Zindorf! Winter Sunset by Zindorf at Splitcoaststampers
I 'm so glad to have Lovely As a Tree to use and so grateful to Michelle Zindorf for her awesome tutoral here (Brayered Sky Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers) and a way to recreate that amazing and blessed scene. Unfortunately, I actually need this card now for a sympathy card since my friend's father passed away. The ironic thing is that the very hill that I see on my way home is right by the cemetery where his body will rest.
The background is sponged rather than brayered (I just have better luck with it). The trees have a bit of stardust stickles on them to mimic the ice that covered the branches. Then I mounted the white based card onto another white base to give it contrast before mounting it on my card base.
