Before I give you the details on this card, I need to tell you a funny story about Stickles. For the longest time, I just didn't get what the fuss was about Stickles. I had a few bottles, and they sat on my desk. I would use them on a project every once in a while, which would always end up in disaster. ALWAYS. Round file. Buh-bye. I kept thinking to myself, this looks just awful, like that cheap glitter glue that I used as a kid that dried in a big glop.
However, there was one instance, where the junked project stayed on my desk overnight and actually had the chance to dry. WELL, what a revelation! The clear glue that the glitter was suspended in actually disappeared. *smacks herself on the forehead* The glitter hardens to beautiful thick diamond perfection. Now I own every color and use them all the time!!!
Now I did some major masking, but I would recommend just cutting out the hat. It's easy to mask over his face to stamp the lollipop.
I am also just loving to stamp with the paint dabbers. I used the Pearl dabber with the Polka Dot backgrounder to stamp the base of the card.
Thanks for looking!
