Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Why, oh why did I buy that?" We were to use embellishments that we do NOT use, whether it be something WE bought, or was given to us....
Okay, so I grabbed the embellishment case at the end of my stamping table and cringed...BUTTONS! I can't seem to use buttons. I have MANY, in a VAST array of colors, sizes and shapes...However, I rarely use them, since I can't get cording/ribbon through the holes...Then I looked down and saw a boo boo from yesterday's card and went searching for these two stamps from Innovative Stamp Creations! The button made an interesting center when I added four brads!
The next things I grabbed from my UNUSED box of embellishment were these two STUDS!!!! Yes, the gold flower and small gold circle on the sentiment are STUDS! (They hurt, a LOT, when you step on them barefooted...Shoot, where are the Neosporan and Band-aids???)
The feature flower was stamped in BBlack and colored with Stampin' Up! markers. I punched it out with the Marvy GIGA circle punch and then used my Coluzzle and Nestibilities for the other scallops and circles.
The dots were made with an Always Artichoke marker.
The bee was stamped in Basic Black and then colored with SU! markers. I cut it out and then added Crystal Effects.

Who'd a thunk it...adding brads to a button. Very clever and oh so cute. As usual...I just gaze in awe at your creation! TFS!

Wow! Great colors. I boycotted buying buttons, because I was sure I had enough extra buttons in my house to suffice my need. Sometimes, it's tempting, especially those clear ones...
