This is for the Technique Challenge using the Cuttlebug to do the Negative EffectÂ…you're inking up the embossing folder before you add paper and run it through the machine. See complete instructions here.
Great challenge Ann and a new one for me!
-I used Summer Sun classic ink on white cardstock with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I couldnÂ’t get the entire cardstock panel to ink up and I applied ink to the panel and bent, rubbed, ran it through the machine again and it was still white so I covered most of it with the cross panel.
-The image panel and flowers are colored with Prismacolor pencils and Mona Lisa mineral spirits found at MichaelÂ’s. The leaves are stamped with Certainly Celery ink, then I used a black marker on the edge.
-The cut out flowers are glued flat to the card.
-The ribbon is tied loosely first, then taped to the panel back.
Accessories: Black marker, Stampin Up retired ribbon, glue, single and double sided tape, Cuttlebug – Swiss Dots, Distressed Stripes embossing folders, Prismacolor pencils, mineral spirits
