This week the featured stamper on Splitcoaststampers is Mary Jo Albright. If you are not familiar with her work---you are missing out. She is a fabulous designer and a sweetheart.
I also tried to add in the MFT sketch challenge with this but forgot a layer (or i can just say the top layer slid over to the side panel!)
Oopsie!
I MJs color palette because I LOVE it. I also used the same images (Let's Go For a Walk by My Favorite Things.) www.mftstamps.com
The changes I made were--I added hardware on the main image. I added piercings under the main image. I used hanging hardware instead of an eyelet on the sentiment. I added the scalloped strip underneath the main image. I used different ribbon (and substituted the vertical ribbon for a piece of embossed cardstock) and I rounded the two corners of cardstock.
Materials used: Let's Go for a Walk (My Favorite Things); Ink-black; cardstock-turquoise, real red, pumpkin pie, whisper white, black; paper piercing tool; Copics, prismacolor pencils; odorless mineral spirits; slit punch; Cuttlebug and textile embossing folder; ribbon (May Arts); scalloped punch and circle punches (SU!); brads and hardware (WE R Memory Keepers); adhesive ribbon (Martha Stewart); corner rounder punch (Creative Memories).

Love It! I especially love the cuttlebug embossed strip and the rounded corners! I also love the hardware with the scallop punch, now why didn't I think of that!
