I combined Sketch Challenge 10 and Technique Lover's Challenge 1 (the Kiss Technique) to come up with this card.
The background on the top part is a Hero Arts grid stamp - I colored the squares (every other one) with Sage Shadow and Bliss Blue Markers. Then I "kissed" it with leaves from Fantastic Foliage that were inked with Chocolate Chip. Then huffed on the whole thing and stamped. The bird from Garden Collage is colored with pastel/chalks and a q-tip.
I think I will send this as a sympathy card - will use a computer printed sympathy sentiment inside.

Oh My, I love the background in a mosaic format. I may have to get that stamp. Your hard work (I consider it hard work to color every other square with a marker)really paid off because this card is truly beautiful!

I vowed to rush through the new card postings and not write any comments so I can get some cleaning done...BUT your card caught my attention. After looking at it and reading what you did, I had to add my agreement with everyone above. This is really, really lovely. Perfect balance, colors, creative, etc. TFS
