Still doing birthday cards...but this time I didn't use Happy Everything I did go back for another color challenge using kraft since I had fun with that yesterday, and I came upon CC16. So here's my kinda non-traditional Asian birthday card, I mean, it doesn't say birthday anywhere on it but the recipient's birthday is today so that's what it's for.
The background stamp is a Judikins one I happened to find at Stamp Salado in Salado, TX. For the red panel, I stamped that big leafy thing from Embrace Life in both Real Red ink and Whisper White--can't really see the red much though. I triple matted the kanji so that it would be bigger, and then added brads on opposite corners. Voila. One more birthday card down...now I just need to do my husband's.
I had trouble taking a picture of this. The light in my stamp room is terrible, and so I was trying to make use of the light coming in the window...I had several pics where the red was just screaming out like some kind of funky fluorescent color. So this was the best I could get.
