This is the hat that I made for my sister-in-law's baby girl. Baby is due end of April. I thought that it would be cute to match the card and the hat. LOL

Okay.... The pattern was provided by Knit Wits. They're a local knitting store here in Jackson, MS. I love it!
Girl's Rolled-Rim Cap
Age: 6 to 18 months
Yarn: Zarella pink, 1 skein
Needle Size: 7 for a smaller cap, 8 for a larger one
Needle types: 16 inch or less circular needle and 4 double-pointed needles
1. Cast on 70 stiches onto the circular needle
2. Knit rounds for about 5 inches
3. First decrease round: *knit 8, knit 2 together* repeat to the end of the round
4. Knit 4 rounds without any decrease
5. Second decrease round (use double-pointed needles): *knit 7, knit 2 together* repeat to the end of the round
6. Knit 3 rounds without any decrease
7. Third decrease round: *knit 6, knit 2 together" repeat to the end of the round
8. Knit 2 rounds without any decrease
9. Fourth decrease round: *knit 5, knit 2 together* repeat to the end of the round
10. Knit 1 round without any decrease
11. Last decrease round: *knit 4, knit 2 together* repeat to the end of the round
12. Leaving about 14 inches of yarn attached, break it
13. Insert the still-attached yarn in a large sewing needle and insert the needle through all the remaining stiches while removing the 4 double-pointed needles. Pull the yarn hard, thereby pulling the stiches together.
14. If you wish, you may add a pompon or other embellishments of your choice.
Hope this make sense. Enjoy!
