Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination challenge: Wild Wasabi, Elegant Eggplant and So Saffron...Wow!
Okay...I have a few Christmas Cards left to make...So, of course, this one "needed" to be done! LOL!
The background is Very Vanilla. I stamped the trees in Basic Black. Next, I used a dauber and So Saffron to "color" the background. I went over the areas several times to achieve that intense color. Next, I went over the trees with a dauber in Wild Wasabi. This really gave the trees a darker look. Then, I used my Signo pen to add "snow" to the branches.
The snow covered ground was done by using a dauber in Whisper White Craft Ink and then embossing it in Iridescent Ice! I love all that glitter!
The scarf and hat were done with BLENDER pens! I didn't like how "strong" the Elegant Eggplant marker looked, so I used a blender pen-I outlined the areas in marker first! Then, I used the blender pen for the Wild Wasabi!
The birds are CUT OUT!!! Remind me to NEVER do that again! (I still can't find 3 birds that were cut out and put aside...LOL!)
The twig arms are from my now COMPLETELY naked little tree outside! LOL!

This is so, so pretty Faith! I love your scene, the snowy trees are lovely. Your naked tree has been worth the sacrifice, your twiggy arms are just too wonderful!!!
