This is for today's color challenge...Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Pumpkin Pie. I didn't have the red, so I substituted it with Purely Pomegranate. The pumpkin color is in the flower, and my natural is black.
The hinges are textured grungeboard by Tim Holtz. It's very flexible and bends with the card. You can scrunch it up, fold it twist it, and it still retains its shape. Way cool. I colored it with Adirondack alcohol ink...oregeno and copper. I distressed the black brads cause they were just too shiny for the card. So I took a sanding block by SU to them.
The flower is embossed with SU black ep....you can emboss with the Distress inks by Tim Holtz...and watercolored with Adirondack reinkers. The bg is polished stone with Oregano and copper Adirondack alcolhol reiners also.
