Yes, they work just as well, since there is some wax or oil ( or something like that) in them. With the fine lines of that set, the metallic pencil worked easier for me then the crayon.

I love it! But I'm curious just like stampingkaren - How does the Metallic pencil resist work? Is there a thread on this site??? Thanks for sharing, Jennifer

The metallic pencils are so soft and wonderful to use. Now I know another great reason to show them to students. Any to think I thought you could only use a crayon for the resist. Thanks for sharing. I just love this card.
