Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lover's Challenge: Make a Little Magic-Gamsol Magic, that is! Participants were to use color pencils and Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits), as a blending medium.
I used SU!'s Pure Color Pencils. I colored the feature's face with the yellow, then highlighted it with the dark green. I colored the "darker areas" with the dark green and filled in the rest with the yellow and light green. Next, I clear embossed the feature and cut it out.
The background is SU!'s designer paper: Dashing...I LOVE that paper! I had some retired SU! organdy and the SU! gingham, so I used those to "tie" the card together!LOL! (I crack myself up!)
I have a GREAT friend whose birthday is coming up...Hint...I LOVE to go shopping in Lancaster with her! LOL! (So, this is for her!)

wow... this is too cute.... great job faith.. i have never looked at the dashing paper and thought anything but christmas... thank you for showing me something else..
