This is for today's Featured Stamper inglishrea. Heather's cards are wonderful, thanks for featuring her Beth! Here's the card I chose to case. I changed the colors, dp's, stamps, added a background stamp and distressing and left off the flat pearls as they did not look right on the sailboat. LOL!
Now, why did I title the card what I did, you are wondering? I purchased a few yards of some yummy May Arts ribbon this week and put them on some round tab punch spools and into my ribbon jar. (I know I did!) Gert (you know who you are) is always saying she is going to come steal my ribbon. I want to know your whereabouts between Thursday and Sunday morning this week. Have you even been in the state of Michigan? I know you have connections here, so I also need to know where she was. Well, as one famous stamper here would say: "On to Plan B" I found other ribbon to finish the card that was designed SPECIFICALLY for the May Arts ones, but I will use them on something as soon as they are safely returned. Also, I dug out Hubby's toothbrush to ink the edges of my card. Nothing works as well as his toothbrush for some reason..........

I don't know what you are whining about! This card is gorgeous with the ribbon you used. I personally don't think the ribbon I found on the spools in the jar would look any better. I mean the ribbon you misplaced on the spools that you thought were in the jar! I've never set foot in Michigan but Bertie lives there....and she claims to have a big butt from eating M&M's. I betcha that big butt is from stuffing May Arts Ribbon in her britches! Contact her.....Just in case you don't buy my *story*, I am contacting The Firm! Giggle. Giggle!
Your card is awesome....beautiful....I love how it is aged looking! Plan B worked good for you!

OMG, Shelly! This is AWESOME and so BEAUTIFUL! So many wonderful details; I love all of it.
Now, as for your May Arts ribbon, Gertie is always trying to blame things on Big Butt Bertie, but BBB did not steal your ribbon. I'm gonna get Tosha on the case with Gertie.

Beautiful, beautiful card Shelly!!! Periphery is my absolute favorite and you used it beautifully!! Love the distressing, and the ribbon you use fits perfectly.
fyi - Gert has Allate Pain and the Grinder on the payroll (supplies and all that), you might want to ask where they've been too. Not sure if they live closer or not. Just thought you might like to know. Gert doesn't usually get her hands too dirty.
