Here is my card for the inspiration challenge. The inspiration was a piece of artwork here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I learned the serendipity technique during the DTGD challenges and I've been wanting to do another one ever since. Here is Rainy's tutorial: http://artwithoutanxiety.com/stampcamp.html
This challenge was the perfect opportunity.
I stamped several different Christmas stamps on white cs then used the direct to paper techniqe and inked with several different colors all over. Then I went over the whole paper with versamark and clear embossed the whole sheet.
I cut up the sheet into 1 inch pieces and attached to 1 inch chipboard tiles.
I sponged the sentiment with the same inks that I used on the panels.
This was a great inspiration piece - thanks Karen!

Another awesome card -- unbelievable how beautiful this is by just doing the steps above. I put this one in my favorites so I can remember to come back and case (somewhat, as I don't have these stamps). I guess I should start looking more at the challenges, but then I hardly every have a spare moment to do any. I love looking in the gallery too much!
