Was out for the day, but just had to do this one before heading to bed as I've had this journal for a while. Have been organizing it alphabetically to keep track of the many friends I have made here at SCS. However...the front was blank. Had found this poem somewhere and kept it, planning to decorate the journal some day. Well...today became the day.
The poem reads.....
In everyone's life
at some time,
our inner fire goes out.
It is then burst into flame
by an encounter with
another human being.
We should all be thankful
for those people who
rekindle the inner spirit.
I think this saying/poem describes what my SCS friends do for me. Thanks, friends.

Oh, Joanne, this is cool! I so agree with you about all the wonderful people on SCS, and you're one of them!! What a great idea to keep a notebook to keep track of your SCS friends. I love all the gingham, especially the little gingham brads.

What a great cover. Your black and white stuff is stunning. I need a new notebook for my SCS addies too. The one I have is falling apart, unfortunately.
