This card is for today's color combo challenge of cameo coral, blue bayou, and soft sky as well as for this week's sketch challenge from Beate. I wanted to try out the much talked about CE and dazzling diamonds icicles that Shelli showed at convention, so here is my first try at those.
I'm in desperate need of thank yous!
So what do ya think?
***Edit:
After a few pms I will post the icicles story here. I am told that at convention this year Shelli Gardner demoed how to make these icicles. You simply take wax paper and draw the line of icicles as long as you like and then pour the dazzling diamonds over it. You let it dry (I let it dry over night with the mound of extra DD on top and then recovered the extra DD in the morning). Then the icicles are suppose to peel right off the wax paper and you adhear them to your cards or whatnot. I'm told Shelli put them on a hat box.
I used low quality wax paper and they didn't just peel off, but trimming around them was not a big deal. I hope this helps you all!
