It is so funny how we find things that have been posted long ago - the white part on the tag is supposed to replicate the water washing up on the beach and the "foam" it leaves behind. I did this by first using a sponge with a very light touch of night of navy followed by sponging from the white craft pad. Then I took a q-tip and some liquid applique and lightly dotted, twisted, etc. across the tag face - finally heating it to make the applique "puff" just a little. I do wish that you could see this in person because the dimension is really fun.
For the woman I stamped in black and embossed, I wet the cardstock around the edges and "curled" it to add an aged quality and then bleached her skin and the edges with a q-tip dipped in bleach. Finally I applied some color back to her skin, and to her hair and dress with Stampin' Pastels.
Hope this helps - if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.
This card just showed up when another card was show cased using the stipple shells. I was impressed with myself, because I looked at the card and thought..... hmmmm this looks like an "Ellen card" and I was right! There are some of you artist that add such beautiful cards to this site that I'm beginning to recognize your artistic endeavors. (I just joined a couple of weeks ago and everyday after work I come rushing over to see what are the latest postings... I actually should be rushing over to make a new card... I'll get over it Thanks for sharing Ellen!

WOW - I'm so glad this came back "up to the top" so to speak, I may have missed it and my life would have been poorer! I'm not even sure I want to attempt to CASE it, nothing I could come up with would even come close!

I just ordered this set before it was too late, came looking for ideas and found your work of art. Possibly the prettiest card I've seen on SCS! I hope it is framed. I'm saving it, but know I'll never come close.
