Okay....stretch your minds with me on this one! LOL! I needed a birthday card. The green floral on the bottom of Plate 11 (Forums at Splitcoaststampers) reminded me sorta of this Basic Grey floral paper. I need a birthday card for tomorrow for a friend who sings (see the musicians on the plate?!) in our choir.
I sponged Tim Holtz distress ink on some WW, watercolored a little river rock in it, stamped the flowers from Loads of Love and colored them amethyst with my aquapainter. The stems are old olive with a bit of ribbon *holding them together*. Doodled some stems, swirlies and leaves around to loosen it up a bit. I used an amethyst marker to make a little pattern around the edges of the scalloped image to set it off. The brads are sanded so they don't look quite so purple. The prima is from an awesome birthday gift from Faith (thank you soooo much! I am enjoying everything you gave me!)
