JuliaÂ’s challenge is to embellish the corners using other than corner punches.
I used a square punch cut corner to corner and layered it under my main panel. The embellishment on the image panel is what is normally thrown away from the Iron Eagle punch by EK Success. I also used the much neglected retired corner stamps from Stampin Up.
-The vine pattern is done using the tapestry technique found in the BeateÂ’s tutorial in the resouces forum.
-The image is colored with re inkers and artist brush.
-The daisy border is individual punched flowers with a ¼” punched circle for the center. I cut them in half and they are glued at the center and the half petals only. I did a slight ink distressing technique on the petals with grey and I used a straight pen to add some texture to the apricot center.
-Tip: when placing flowers on the card, find the center point and glue the first one down then attach the two ends flowers then itÂ’s real easy to center the last two between the already attached flowers.
-The edges of the moss and apricot are also distressed after stamping with linen.
