The TLC was to use strips of paper and I have a ton of them that I keep promising myself will get used up, so Beth just gave me a little push in the direction!
The strips are attached to a sticky back paper and it makes it real easy to handle. I ran it through the Cuttlebug then stamped it with Linen so only the raised portion gets inked.
As you can see I tool distress a couple panels then assembled.
The sentiment is stamped, rubbed in VersaMark and clear embossed. The yellow color is marker.
Image is colored with re inkers and artist brush.
The card is a 4.25 square.

Very clever on embossing and then just stamping the raised areas. I love the look of that. You just think of everything Roxie! My favorite is of course is the kitty. I do need to see if I can find him on line. I haven't seen that sentiment at Michaels! Just LOVE this card!

Also very impressed with the linen stamp on top of the embossed (cuttlebugged) design - it is so cool and gives this card that extra something. Too cool. TFS

Just got a cuttlebug for my birthday (tomorrow 7/15) and will have to try the stamping after embossing method. Thanks for the great ideas (always). Your cards are amazing! TFS
