Here's my submission for today's Technique Challenge. It's a get well card for a 7-year-old boy named Justin with a rare immune deficiency disease. Here's the link to the post asking for RAKs for Justin: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Today's challenge was to make a card that would fit in a business-sized envelope (long cards). I didn't have 12x12 Caribbean so I made a funky fold to this card to make it work.
The Cuttlebug bubble bg and main starfish image are the top half of the card. The hodgepodge brad and tab is what is holding the top half to the back. The tab moves. I added a Cool Caribbean panel to the back of the card to hide the back of the brad.
I also didn't have any whitty/punny sentiments, so I made the sentiments on the computer. The inside reads, "..and shore do wish you a speedy recovery."
TFL!
