This is a sympathy card for Julia Stainton, whose mother passed away last week. Julia hosts the Ways to Use It Challenge each week here on SCS. I have come to be a big fan of her work and I visit her blog regularly. For more information about the sympathy cards, see this post by Cammie: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
To make the card, I stamped Linen and French Script on the River Rock cs with Choc Chip ink. The dp is Basic Grey Stella Ruby, and I pulled the colors from it (River Rock and Blue Bayou are perfect matches!). I used Blue Bayou and Handsome Hunter ink on the flower image, then rock n rolled it with Choc Chip before stamping. I stamped once in the center then two more times on the sides without reinking. I pierced the top and bottom of the Blue Bayou panel. I also the pierced the corners of the Choc Chip panel and created faux eyelets with a white gel pen. Choc Chip ink is sponged around the panels, and the panels and oval are mounted on dimensionals.
Thanks for looking!
