I just love this new hostess set- I've always wanted vases. As soon as I saw this set I wanted to do something that looks like vases in a row on a window sill. The colors were inspired by the stripes (from SU's Petal Patch from 2006). Flowers were painted with aqua painters and ink "squished" into lids of large inkpads (Blue Bayou, Groovy Guava and Certainly Celery), white gel pen used also. The vases are stamped and cut out of glossy white so in real life have a shine just like glass. They were watercolored also then raised on pop dots. This is my first use of the rhinestone brads and I am in love!

Well, guess I will be getting this one with my one free recruit stamp. I wasn't going to because I didn't think I would like it, but this card pushed me over the edge (& looks like a few others also). Absolutely stunning and elegant -- tyfs
