For today's sketch challenge, I kept thinking of this beautiful paper I found at Hobby Lobby while I was at work today and knew that I wanted to use it with a vellum sentiment. I had to stamp the flower portion of my stamp in the Cranberry Crisp pad, wipe off the excess that ran into the flower stem, and then colored the stem with an Old Olive marker. I then took the outline flower stamp from the same set and stamped it lightly in Cranberry Crisp and Close to Cocoa on the vellum sentiment, which is adhered by brads. Unfortunately, I cut the vellum panel a little off so that the sentiment isn't perfectly centered on the card. HOWEVER, I'm trying to get over perfectionist tendencies and decided to leave it as is since my friend accepts me as I am and knows I am far from perfect! TFL!
