This card is for Inspiration Challenge 73, which was an olive print sneaker. Here's the link: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I took the colour palette and the swirls and the fabric texture as my inspiration, as well as the shot of red and the stitching detail.
This card has lots of layers, lots of stamping, and lots of sponging. It was a fun one to make. There are some stickles on teh flwoer and the punch for a bit of fun. For the flourishes, I used French Flair inked with Old Olive and Always Artichoke classic spots. I added the leaf from Carte Postale in True Thyme and then Linen on top with Sahara Sand. The flower image also has Linen with Sahara Sand on it.
ETA: I've changed the card slightly. It was driving me a bit crazy because my line of sewing was just "out there". It really needed to be connected to the flower image. So I just took it apart and fixed it. In my defence, I finished this card in the wee small hours last night, after coming home from a Death By Chocolate fundraiser for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. So I'm pleading that I was stamping under the influence of too much chocolate.
