I've struggled with Roses in Winter (RIW), so thought I'd try copying from a master. When I saw BadSherry's SC120 Roses I knew I'd fallen upon a master. Her work is gorgeous and her instructions on her gallery post and in her blog, Walking on the BAD side (Blogs at Splitcoaststampers) were very easy to follow.
The only thing I did differently was to change her Barely Banana to So Saffron and her Ranger Walnut distress Ink to Creamy Caramel. I also stamped across the whole rose image again with VersaMark using the Weathered background stamp and used a different ribbon (Tim Holtz).
Mine doesn't look nearly so good as BadSherry's, but it's the best I've ever done. I'll keep practicing, BadSherry, and do you proud yet.

This is just gorgeous. I can't believe I haven't bought RIW yet! Just kept going to the bottom of the list for some reason or another. I'll definitely order it now after seeing this wonderful card
