While I sympathize with the family who lost their son and brother, please let's not make the killer out to be some poor misunderstood soul. We live in a culture of blame-shifting. I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't abused/bullied/shamed/depressed. This is precisely what he wanted us to believe. His "manifesto" blames others, not himself. The fact is there is no excuse for murdering countless people.

I think your card is beautiful. I was attracted to it by the thumbnail snapshot in the gallery. I did go to your blog to read your "rationale" for the card. I agree with your thoughts and perspective -- many are suffering and, unfortunately, his family may be forced to grieve alone. I wish, however, that you would have titled it differently -- like for Cho's family. Your title just doesn't seem to match the sentiment and your explanation for having made the card, which was very compassionate.
Thank you, though, for this and your many other fine art samples.
