There are no butterflies here because they flew by saw the weeds and kept going! Oh well, I wanted to add a butterfly to this image but I had to keep adding flowers because of the mess I was making trying to draw the butterfly. This was a hard color challenge for me I couldn't seem to get the colors to look right. I colored the ribbon with So Saffron and hand painted in the grass and some of the flowers.

I love this. It is so pretty. Most of all I like the scalloped circle inside the plain circle. I always do it the other way around but I like this format even better.

Your colors are great. Love the painting your did on the flowers. I don't think you needed a butterfly. It would have detracted from the flowers, which I think are perfect the way they are.

Thanks for your story; you sure did a great job on this in spite of your troubles! I've seen both cards and I like it either way, but I understand that you wanted a butterfly to match that lovely verse!!! Great job!
