I had fun combining three challenges this week! The sketch is from Leslierich and Rox (thanks! Great sketch) for SC119.
WT108 encouraged us to use markers on our card. I used markers to color the image, and water on a paintbrush to spread the color. Thanks Julia!
LSC111 was particularly interesting; to make a Mother's Day card for a child to give a Grandmother! And the one rule was, "no flowers". Way to get the creative juices flowing, Jen, thanks!
My hubby even got involved... got me the sandpaper from the garage to distress the red layer!
I did the greeting on the computer, and drew the heart and "ewe", and hand-wrote "Greandma".
On second thought, I wish I had used brown thread instead of white for the sewing, as it doesn't show enough, I think. Next time.
I used "Snow Writer" by DecoArt for the two lambs for a dimensional effect.
The lion and lamb image is by the late Tony DeMarco, a wonderful artist who contributed many designs to High Hopes Rubber Stamps, a company which is still going strong (yay Tina!).
