This is for LSC Bonus 7 to use Loads of Love and Accessories. I love this set. I have 33 LOL cards in my file on my computer. I stamped the truck once on the main layer and again on a scrap of watercolor paper. I painted the scrap truck and cut it out so I could pop it up over the main image and put the tires in the bg of the truck. I painted the truck with tempting turquoise. I masked the truck wheels on the main layer and sponged on olive to create the hillside and ground area. I stamped and painted the three trees with sponges and a dry brush with reinker. I think this adds a little depth to the tree. I also took a brown artist pen and filled in some branch area to make the tree look a little more real but I dont think it shows on the scan. I stamped off the doggies three times so I could place them in the cab and back of the truck. I also wanted a few of them around on the ground. They are a little hard to see but they are there. I love the thought of a dog driving the truck. I guess I am still only 6 or 7 years old. I painted all the dogs and cut them out and attached to the ground, sign and truck. Before I put the truck on the main image I took an olive and artichoke marker and created the little grassy areas and then used a mustard marker to make the little wild flowers in the bg. It just doesn't take much to add a little softness to a scene with the flick of a marker here and there. Little effort but big payoff. I did the sky with cloud template and bashful blue and marigold. I also sponged a little marigold along the flower and grass line to give some light and pop them out a little. I never get tired of making scenes with this truck set and loved it that Jen picked it for a bonus challenge. Thanks so much, Jen!

Kittie, I never get tired of viewing your lil pick-up cards! I made one last night and have to upload it. I seem to bend towards the more pastel colors, but I love your vibrant cards. You certainly are the master. Thanks for all you detailed explanations.

Kittie~I just love when you work with this fun little pick-up truck! This is so adorable and fun with the dog driving his buddies to a romp in the meadow with their other doggie buddies! As always, a great job on the whole scene! TFS

I LOVE all the doggies in this card! They are so cute hiding behind the sentiment tag and lounging under the trees, but my favorite ones are those with the wind blowing their ears back in the back of the truck and the one driving the truck. I also love the depth you achieved with all your work on the truck. Such an adorable scene that makes us all want to be 6 or 7 again and go play with these doggies!
