This is for IC68. The last couple of weeks I have really enjoyed trying my hand at free hand painting for this challenge. I feel like I can just spread my wings and see where I can go and no one will thinks it's too strange as it's all about inspiration.
I hand painted the leaves with celery and olive and the flower with regal rose and apricot. When I got them finished they just didn't look complete to me. Maybe because I am so used to seeing the black stamp lines on all of my images from stamping. I took my black artist pen and filled in all arund the images with black sketch lines and I feel like it warmed up the painted images and made them more alive. I sponged apricot all ove thge scene when I was through. Sadly, my sentiment stamp went on crooked and that just burned my b---!!!! but I had worked too hard not to upload it.
It is so interesting to me that the reinker colors are so vivid. When trying to build up color and shading with the regal rose, I had to match it up with real red paper for my finished product.

Well, this is wonderful. You go girl, spread those wings. And forget about the askew sentiment. It is the Artist's discretion, I think it adds drama. Your shading with the Apricot Appeal is just perfect and really warms the scene. I love it.
