i love marigold morning and black together. the frayed ribbon plume uses the threads and i used the remaining fringed part on the middle bottom square. thanks for looking!
an added post: you all have been so kind with your comments. what i myself love about this kind of card, is that it really is an easy one to do, it's a great way to use up scraps, and it can be themed to match the interests of the person you're making it for...man or woman.

Adding my 2 cents on this one too. Love this concept. I am putting it in my favorites to hopefully be brave enough to attempt myself sometime. I agree with you about the color combo, I like them together also. Your attention to detail is impecable.

Your card is stunning. Loved the images you picked out, loved the colors, loved the frayed ribbon. That's how I ran across your card: frayed ribbon. It's amazing that one technique can lead us to another. I hope you don't mind, but this card HAS to be placed in my favorites for inspiration.
