| | A great challenge Jen! You've brought me out of a six month hiatus. I couldn't resist this one. The butterflies and flowers are faux chipboard, as well as the round disc the large butterfly is on. I used the chipboard that came with the Delight in Life Designer papers. I used one ply for the flowers and butterflies and used three ply for the disc. I was inspired to make this card from a Brighton enameled butterfly bracelet I was wearing today. I painted the butterflies and flowers with Craft Re-inkers and embossed them with clear. I then covered them with Versamark and layered with UTEE to get the enameled look. The hardest part for me was the design layout. I couldn't seem to pull it together; design layout is not my forte. I do like the way it turned out with the exception of the ribbons, couldn't seem to get those to work. |
