Don't laugh! We Texans just aren't equipped for real ice. This snow day was a bit of a surprise- we couldn't even get a snowman out of the downfall.
Journaling: A snow day in Texas is unlike any other. TodayÂ’s snow day came as a surprise. We are not really equipped for ice and snow. It was the ice that kept us home. Since it hasnÂ’t been over freezing for a couple days black ice is a threat. So, I enjoyed the day stamping, scrapping, and taking a quickwalk around the neighborhood to see the remnants of our big snow day.

*spew* I must apologize but I *HAD* to laugh! It was only b/c you warned me though and then I realized how crazy snow in Texas could get for you...and of course, the visual of Texan's driving in snow really got me giggling. Thanks for the giggles...
On a more serious note: Your page ROCKS! I too love the blue and the photos are completely fabulous. I really like the ICE, it really gives such feeling to your page. Oh and the title is quite cute as well.

Great pictures, very nice page! I had to laugh too at the thought of Texans and snow and ice!! I live in Western New York, and we usually are used to that, not as much this year, but you get used to it after a while, not that we like it either! Glad you had time to do some scrapbooking while you had the day off!!

What a great page! I too had to laugh about the snow and Texas. I used to live in southern OK and I swear the whole city would shut down if we had a dusting of snow.
