My friend Sally's 50th b-day card. Since we meet once a week at a local coffee shop with our knitting friends of course I had to use my new fav. set.......Like it a Latte. So fun adding liquid applique with Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the cream. I got the idea from a Xmas card done by leslierich. Thanks Leslie :-) I used my faux craft ink (ink stamp with versamark and then inked with Close to Cocoa classic ink) embossing technique to emboss all of the sentiments and coffee cup and cream. Works really well. Lots of dimension in this card, which requires lots of touching :-) Enjoy, Nancy

Yes--what everyone said above. Also, I don't know if I am reading more into this than is meant to be there, but I see a dual meaning with the birthday sentiment paired with the coffee beans--what comes to mind is referring to people who are only concerned about "the bottom line" in life as "bean counters." You want to have fun? Don't count beans.

Oooh, great colors with that pretty Petal Patch paper. That whipped cream looks absolutely yummy! What an appropriate card for your knitting and coffee shop friend. TFS. Linda
