Measurements for the challengers: My border starts at 1/8” form the bottom ending at ¾ from the bottom. White panel: 3 1/8” by 4 3/8”, CC panel: 2 7/16” by 4” and the black is 1/8” larger.
I didnÂ’t have Cool Caribbean cardstock so I created some using my brayer to ink up white so it will appear just a bit darker than the cardstock color IÂ’ve seen in the gallery but it matches perfect with the ribbon Tashers sent me when I was her VSN Secret Amiga in May 06. My idea for CC and black with the use of the set with dry embossing comes from Atomicbutterfly.
The CC panel is dry embossed and also the three tiny flowers on the white panel. The white panel is sponged with CC.
The center flower is sitting on a foam pop up, the rose flowers are sitting on a cardstock square and the leaves are attached right to the panel; it all give a nice dimensional look at different heights.
The ribbon wraps completely around the card front. Because the ribbon is so thick I pulled it tight and tied with the white ribbon to keep that thickness down.
There is paper piercing on the upper left corner of the black that doesnÂ’t show in the photo.
