Remember the song, Over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother's house, we go!
This is for the WT89 challenge, Crystal Clear, to use Crystal Effects, and also for last week's Faux Wood challenge, TLC91.
I needed the truck to face the other direction, so I made a toilet paper casting of it, then silver embossed the raised areas, painted it with markers and lots of Crystal Effects. The rough edges of the TP provided natural snow. Mom and Dad are driving with presents loaded up in the back, over the wooden bridge made from stips of Faux Wood. I did the Faux Wood with reinkers and a toothbrush. The river and pond were made with markers and layers of Glassy Glaze, then *cracked* in the freezer. Ooops, the polar bear lost his hat when he fell! His body is done with CE and Snowflake Embossing Tinsel. All the snow was done with torn paper and tons more CE and EP. In the distance you can see Grandmother inside her gingerbread house, near her Christmas tree surrounded with more presents. Grandma, her tree and presents, the big tree outside, and the polar bear's hat were all made with Polyshrink. The few bars of the song are computer generated from the actual words and verse.
Thanks for looking, and wishing everyone a very happy Holiday Season!
