This is for the color challenge – Cool Caribbean, More Mustard and Chocolate Chip. I called this Leslie’s Wall because doesn’t it look like a dining room wall? And, this is somewhat of a double CASE (ideas, anyway) from leslierich.
Leslie did a card called Autumn Friends where she did a gorgeous barnwood-type looking b/g with the Dry Brush wheel and Vanilla Craft ink. I did it on this card, but it doesn’t show up so well here on the lighter color, but IRL it gives such beautiful texture to the paper that you cannot see on the screen. I will be using this wheel A LOT to texture the paper – just love it.
Also, I have long admired Leslie’s cards, especially all the gorgeous work she does with flowers – unmatched, for sure!!! I am just fiddling around with watercoloring, and was trying to copy the way she watercolored Sassy Stems in one of her cards. I certainly didn’t do either Sassy Stems or leslierich justice with this attempt, but, I’m trying!!!
Here are the links to both of LeslieÂ’s cards mentioned above:
